No Longer Waiting, New Samsung Galaxy Nexus is Coming Soon

Date Time:2012.03.02

Word on the street is that new Samsung Galaxy Nexus featured which is anticipated for some time will be launched on Dec. 8th. The device is powered by the fourth generation Android operating system called Ice Cream Sandwich.

Reading through some "previews" online, the Galaxy Nexus running Android Ice Cream Sandwich is a pretty sweet deal.  The phone is a good size with a very noticeable 4.65-inch screen to entertain you.  The touch screen is currently one of the largest screens available in the smartphone market.  Taking a look at some of the images online, you see a very familiar design, similar to the Nexus S from last year.  The plastic around the front is very thin, but most of the front side is taken up by glass covering the huge touch screen.

The Galaxy Nexus has no buttons, which instead are replaced with the same software keys we saw with Android 3.0 that was geared towards the tablet makers.  The keys are located at the bottom of the front face and can be shifted if the phone is used in the landscape proximity.  The Galaxy Nexus takes on the same form as other Samsung phones with less metal and more lightweight, but durable plastics around the body of the phone.  The touch screen has a nice resolution of 1280×720 pixels and the Super AMOLED delivers a very sharp, crisp images that most Samsung fans love to see. The device will boast a sophisticated 1.2 GHz dual core processor. In addtion to the device, it is very lightweight and users might not feel very comfortable holding it with the fear it may drop to the ground.

Right now the best reviewed feature is the faster acting camera on the backside. However, our waiting for the faddish gadget may come to an end soon.
